Help improve the doctor-patient relationship Support
the Medicine & Horsemanship Medical Student Elective
Why does Stanford need my support?
Stanford Medical School is both well-endowed
and tightly budgeted for its core medical courses such as anatomy, and physiology.
Student electives are not funded by Stanford. Most Stanford medical students
are on financial aid or scholarships and they need your support in order
to be able to attend Medicine & Horsemanship.

Horsemanship class of Spring 2006
What will I pay for and what will I get?
Our expenses include fees for the faculty—horses
and people, the ranch facilities, support staff at CEFCM, and the syllabus.
Contributions are received through the Stanford Center for Education in
Family and Community Medicine and are fully tax deductible for individuals
as well as businesses.
For support of one year or more, you can have eponymous (named for like
AT&T Park) sponsorship. You can name the program after your business,
yourself, your favorite horse or pet, or a loved one-for example, The
Jane Jones Memorial-Stanford Medicine & Horsemanship Program.
All donors receive the satisfaction of contributing to the making of
a compassionate new generation of doctors with superior interpersonal skills
and wonderful bedside manner.
We need immediate support for Spring 2010.
